Everyone has one. I often see parents bogged down by this crazy list of all the things they NEED from other parents. They don’t need most of those items. You don’t need a swing AND a bouncer AND 500 baby toys or 6 different kinds of bottles. Baby will most likely prefer what they get used to, which is usually what the parents prefer.
1. Smart Baby Monitors

We love the Nanit Pro - Wall Mounted Baby Monitor. I know some people are concerned about WiFi hacking, but it’s super rare and honestly are they actually doing anything harmful to you other than being creepy? Different strokes for different folks but we LOVE Nanit.

For sustainability, I love a stroller that will grow with your family and/or have good resale value. The Bugaboo Donkey 5 and UppaBaby Vista both offer just that. I will add on that I absolutely hate the toddler scooter add-on attachments. 10/10 wouldn’t recommend for either. It’s an uphill battle, you have to stand to the side of the stroller while pushing it and you have a 2.5 year old jumping off of it like it’s their debut on jackass 6.0. Skip it.

For a traditional pump, we love the Spectra S1 as it’s plug free and you aren’t tied to a wall. For on-the-go we like the Elvie Classic and the Willow Go. A note that In MY opinion the Willow GO has more room for user error a milk spillage.
