Family in the Oak Lawn area of Dallas is looking for a kind, knowledgeable & assertive nanny to partner with long term. There is 1 dog in the home so someone comfortable with dogs is a must. Being knowledgeable on milestones and activities to promote those milestones is very important to this family. They would like someone who can provide guidance on schedules and parenting styles and who will take initiative with taking care of all baby related tasks. Dad works from home in a separate office. Mom is a SAHM so will be around to lend a helping hand if needed, but she may return to work in the very near future. The ideal long-term fit will be open to taking a proactive and helpful role around the house, transitioning into family assistant duties when the child goes to preschool in 2-3 years. They’d also love help with light housekeeping such as loading / unloading the dishwasher, wiping counters, light occasional vacuuming
Age of Child: 3.5 months
Schedule: M-F 8am - 4pm or 9am-5pm
Compensation: $26-29/hr
Start date: August 6th or August 8th
Benefits: minimum 2 weeks vacation, 3-5 sick days, open to discussion for perfect fit
Qualifications:
Have at least 2 years of experience caring for children, one of those being in-home as a private nanny.
Toddler experience + Newborn Experience
Familiarity with AAP Guidelines, Safe Sleep, Sticking to an Infant Sleep Schedule, Infant Play + Development
Clean Driving Record and History of Driving Children While Nannying
Happy to work with a Parent at Home
